Somatic Psychotherapy

My therapeutic style is psychodynamic and depth oriented. While integrating attachment theories, I come from a theoretical lens that believes the therapeutic relationship has capacity to bring significant healing to harmful narratives. Moving towards embodiment is long term, lifestyle work. Trauma often disrupts feelings of safety within the body. I work with anyone who is willing to engage their truth in a real and authentic way.

Consultation + Coaching

Consultation is a service for supplemental support to your ongoing healing journey. Embodied Living is about creating balance in your day to day routines, together we’ll look at patterns and discover where you feel stuck and where you would like to cultivate more growth. Collaboratively we design goals that are sustainable for your overall wellbeing with the purpose of deeper connection with self and others. These conversations are therapeutic in nature, but it is not the same as trauma work or intensive therapy. 

Mindful Movement

Dance Movement Therapy is a unique outlet for expression that cultivates safety, growth and connection. For centuries people have used dance as a way of storytelling. Sometimes words fail to articulate unique life experiences and talk therapies reach their limitations, this is when other research based modalities can be helpful.

Gentle Yoga

Cultivating inner awareness helps a person reclaim their sense of self agency. Trauma informed yoga is about increasing somatic trust by listening when you desire to soften into a restorative shape or crave more expansion. Research reveals benefits of yoga for trauma survivors such as: reducing symptoms of PTSD, depression and anxiety. The instructor offers a sense of containment and guidance, while participants practice mindful breathing and reconnection with their innate body wisdom.

Retreats + Speaking Events

Gatherings invite us towards a sense of belonging, giving room for our hearts and bodies to awaken towards a sense of awe and gratitude. It’s an intimate way of connecting with one another, inviting deeper dialogue and finding ritual and rest through creatively curated retreats.
